Multi Purpose Building and Ice Arena

The City of Caspian is proud to be the home of the newly constructed Iron County Multi Purpose Building/Ice Arena. The new facility was opened in the year 2000 at which time all major construction was completed, and ice making equipment was operational. The new facility is owned by the City of Caspian but operated by a joint hockey Multi Purpose Building and Ice Arenaand city management board. Leagues and play are scheduled at the arena from October through March as well as open skating for the public. The Iron Amateur Association is the spearhead of all hockey league practice and play.

Public skating is available from October through March on Friday and Saturday evenings from 6:30 to 8:30p.m. Concessions in all shapes and forms are available. The multi purpose facility can also handle other events in the summer months such as trade fairs, exhibitions, gift and home shows, etc. Interested parties should feel free to direct any questions concerning the multi purpose building to the Iron Amateur Hockey Association, P.O. Box 727, Stambaugh, MI 49964. Inquiries can be directed to the attention of Mr. Dan Child, President, or you can visit the hockey association web site at www.iaha.net.

Come on over to our new facility for fun and good old fashioned exercise.
